The crew of the nuclear submarine USS Ulysses rescues supposed victims of a boat disaster, but the victims turn out to be terrorists intent on capturing nuclear weapons aboard the sub. Only a former SEAL, now a submarine consultant, can save the crew by sliding aboard while the sub is underwater. The term "crash dive" refers to the sudden dropping of a sub to escape detection, an act that a nuclear sub is never supposed to make. Of course, it comes into play in this film.

Schizophrenia is notable for its substantial impact on everyday functioning, being one of the top five causes of disability in individuals under the age of 25. In most cases, individuals who develop schizophrenia manifest behavioral changes prior to the formal diagnosis of the condition. These changes, referred to as the "prodrome," are variable across individuals who may eventually develop schizophrenia. Proactive risk assessment in other chronic diseases such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, and cancer has brought about advances in early detection and intervention leading to substantial reductions in morbidity, mortality, and improved quality of life. It is imperative that this type of proactive intervention becomes part of timely diagnosis and better outcomes for patients with schizophrenia. Clinicians face challenges designing treatment plans for patients with schizophrenia that will maximize adherence and reduce side effects. Relapse rates tend to be quite predictable, can be affected by adherence, and have multiple adverse consequences. Minimizing relapse requires a coordinated effort between the patient, provider, family, and multidisciplinary treatment team. In this interactive neuroscienceCME activity, faculty will focus on the impact of treatment selection, phase of illness, medication adherence, and side effect burden on the journey toward remission and recovery in schizophrenia. This activity also includes a special "After the Show" segment during which the faculty answers additional audience questions in an informal Q&A session.

There are few things that are as attractive as a smile. It has the power to draw people in and make them feel more welcome. That is why those with misshapen, discolored or missing teeth often feel self-conscious and miss out on the opportunity to let their true selves shine. Fortunately, this does not always have to be the case as there is a way to bring to life the picture of an ideal smile.
Far from being mere vanity, improving the quality of the mouth and teeth can have major health benefits. There are plenty of illnesses that manifest themselves in the mouth. Early detection relies on the ability to recognize the differences in the quality of the mouth. Plus, having a healthy smile can be a sign of overall health.
At our dental clinic, we are committed to assisting those in our local community with their oral care needs. Most of our clients are located in Chatsworth, Calabasas, Encino, Tarzana, Studio City, and other nearby areas. We find that there is a marked difference in how our clients are when they walk out of our office. At the end of a few sessions, they come out with a renewed sense of self-esteem. This is all because they are able to smile with confidence.
There are many choices when it comes to professionals offering their services in cosmetic dentistry. What differentiates our dental clinic from others is that we understand that improving the smile is more than just a procedure. Very often, it can be a change in one’s quality of life. If you are someone who wants to experience this, please do not hesitate to visit us at our Chatsworth area dental office and we would be happy to be of assistance.
