President Clinton established the William J. Clinton Foundation with the mission to strengthen the capacity of people throughout the world to meet the challenges of global interdependence. The Foundation works to develop, promote and advance innovative and measurable solutions to critical challenges in the US and around the world ranging from HIV/AIDS and childhood obesity to climate change and poverty alleviation. To advance this mission, the Foundation works principally through partnerships with like-minded individuals, organizations, corporations, and governments, often serving as an incubator for new policies and programs.
